The controversy over separation of church and state,and which one should be subservient to the other has raged for thousands of years.Since politics and religion have always gone hand in hand,in many strange forms over time, is there really only one correct way?That depends entirely on the individuals spiritual belief system.In America today the main battle on this front is between Christianity and Humanism.Yes,Humanism is officially considered a religion by the U S Supreme Court and the founders of Humanism admit this also.The following article links to an interesting web site dealing with one aspect of the debate.
